Our Mission:

Trinity Kid’s exists to partner with parents to disciple their children. Our goal is to root and ground children in the gospel so they become oaks of righteousness.

The phrase oaks of righteousness comes from Isaiah 61:1-3. When Jesus launched his ministry these were His theme verses (Luke 4:16-22). They beautifully depict the life-changing nature of His ministry through His Spirit-empowered word.
Our desire is for children to experience the healing, freedom, comfort, true-beauty, and lasting joy that Jesus’ word brings and for them to become strong, fruitful, and stable so they can withstand the secular storm that is coming their way.

What to Expect:

During the Worship Service:
Our desire is for children of all ages to join us during the 9:30 Worship Service. We believe it is so important in the foundation of our children’s faith for them to see how their parents and other members of the body of Christ worship and come into the presence of the Living Lord on Sunday mornings.
  • We offer Nursery for ages 0-4 during the worship service.
  • For children in grades Kindergarten- 2nd grade who may need a little extra support as they ease into sitting through the service, we offer story time during the sermon. Children will start the service sitting with their families and will be released to attend story time in the library. During this time our wonderful volunteers read various Bible stories to them. Children get picked up from the playground after the service.
  • For children 3rd grade and up, and for younger kids who stay in the service, we have children’s bulletins to help keep them engaged in the sermon. Our desire is for the bulletin to be used as a family discipleship tool throughout the week. Pastor Ben also has prizes for the kids who stay in the sermon and complete their bulletin!
During the Discipleship Hour:
TrinityKIDS classes for  ages 0-5th grade.
  • Children who were in the nursery can stay for the second hour
  • PreK children who were in the nursery for the first hour should be picked up by parents and taken to the PreK TrinityKIDS class.
Discipleship:Our desire as a ministry is to partner with parents as you disciple your children. There are two main tools to help you with the discipleship of your children at home.
  1. The kids bulletin: We hope that this is not only a useful tool to engage your children in the sermon, but that you can go over the sermon questions and memory work with your kids at home. (If your child completes the bulletin during the sermon be sure they find Pastor Ben to get a little prize!)
  2. Big Picture Cards: Be sure to grab one of these from the TrinityKIDS teachers when you pick your child up from class! It is summary of what was taught that Sunday and has some questions you can ask your child as they process the Bible story with you.
