SERMON // The House that Jesus Builds – Ritual or Relationship // Mark 14:12-31

We all have rituals. We all have routines or traditions that we keep year after year. There is not always a clear explanation for some of them. But we have been intentional about others.

Mark 14:12-31 tells about a ritual. A celebration. The Festival of Unleavened Bread, also known as the Passover, had been a part of the Jewish culture for hundreds of years. It was a celebration of God’s greatest act of deliverance for His people. Yet, Jesus turned this ritual into something of great significance for generations to come.
