Seek, Grow, Serve

God has called his people to seek his face in worship, grow in his grace, and serve his people. One of the primary ways we seek his face and grow in his grace is through Jesus’ ministry of teaching. 

With school kicking off this week, it is a good time to remind ourselves how important education is. If you think about it, none of us come into the world formed. We are not physically formed. We are not spiritually formed. We are not mentally formed. We need to be shaped. We need to be formed. We need to be taught. 

Our big idea tomorrow is a simple one: Jesus’ central work, while on earth, was to teach.

We will look at how he taught, how he was taught, and how he teaches us now.

These simple realities can have life-changing implications.
