Sermon: Why we worship the way we do and why we are moving to two services.

Matthew 4 is all about ministry: there are three great temptations and three great tasks.

Matthew’s Gospel is a ministry manual. It is a blueprint for how Jesus builds His house.

And in Chapter 4:23 we get Jesus’ core ministry activities. This is a great time for us to pause and talk about our core ministry activities as a church.

So, in this sermon, we are talking about our worshipeducation, and “healing” ministries.

Going to Two Services

As many of you are aware, one of the great gifts the Lord has blessed us with is steady numerical growth. We are humbled and thankful for this gift and desire to be wise stewards of the joys and challenges that it brings.

Over the past 1.5 years, as we continually bump up against our space limitations both in our worship space and in our TrinityKIDS classrooms, the elders and leadership team have been praying and discussing when the best time to move to two services would be, and after prayerful consideration, we feel that the best time is April 5

Tomorrow during the sermon we will discuss the vision and the logistics behind going to two services

An email will be sent out this week with more details about what going to two services at Trinity IS and is NOT, and provide the opportunity to offer feedback.

We are excited about what God is doing and where He is leading us!
