Sermon: Matthew 4:12-25

Matthew’s Gospel is a ministry manual. It is a blueprint for how Jesus builds his house.  It is a masterpiece that is simple and inexhaustibly profound.

In this sermon, we look at the three great tasks of building the kingdom:

1. (4:12-17) Proclaiming the Gospel: the Light of the world calls the world to repent. 

2. (4:18-22) Personally Calling Disciples: The Lord of the Church calls them to follow. 

3. (4:23-25) Paradigm for Ministry: The Life of the World brings healing to the world.
